Background
The Lakes of Brooks Crossing Community hosted the Home Builders Association of Fort Wayne’s “2000 Parade of Homes”.
The Lakes of Brooks Crossing Subdivision was originally developed by the Chestnut Group, Inc. The community has approximately 150 home sites which include walkout basements, daylight sites, wooded lots and some lake lots. This community is located on the Northwest side of Fort Wayne in Perry Township and is approximately 1/2 mile East of State Rd #3 (Lima Rd) on Carroll Road. It is located in the Northwest Allen County School System with students attending Oak View Elementary, the new Maple Creek Middle School, and then Carroll High School.
